In our workshop weekend, we utilize fire ceremonies to transform our lives––to heal, to break through our old patterns and to move from fear to authentic empowerment. In short, to create a new life from the ashes of your old life.

 

• Night time performative group healing fire ceremony incorporating music and sound healing

• Temazcal: Ancient Mesoamerican sweat lodge. This one is dedicated to Gran Padre Fuego, the Great Father of Fire, who we invite to aid us in the prayer and song and ceremony of

healing and purification

• Construction of a group altar

• Exploratory group platicas (sacred healing circles)

​

• Powerful ceremonies of purification

Part 2- Mon-Wed

EMBRACING THE MEDICINE OF RITUAL:

LEARNING TO LEAD CEREMONIES THAT ENRICH COMMUNITIES AND CHANGE LIVES

 

Would you like to both experience and learn to lead spiritual and healing ceremonies?

 

Building on what occurred in our Fire Ceremony Weekend, this follow-up workshop teaches you to creatively construct ceremonies of many different kinds.  Learn a basic universal structure that you can use for ceremonies of:

 

• One on one healing

• Group healing

• Birth blessings

• Coming of age

• Weddings

• Funerals

• Breakthrough personal transformations

 

Some of what you will learn:

• Creating a safe container for ceremony

• Altar construction for any ceremony and applied to any spiritual orientation

• Incorporating music and sound healing

• Initiation

• Finding the right words

• How to purify both a person as well as a space to prepare for ceremony

• Contextualizing ceremony into the wider concerns of life
